The simple rules for watching, sharing and supporting section 38.
Watching the film
section 38 is free to watch, on YouTube and on section38film.com. You do not need an account. It is provided as it is, and we cannot promise it will always be available or work on every device or connection.
Sharing
You are welcome to share the link to the film with friends, family and anyone interested in the issues it explores. Please share the link or the YouTube video itself. Please do not copy, re-upload, edit, or sell the film, or charge admission to it, without our written permission.
Screenings and groups
We welcome screenings for organizations, schools, community groups and events, in person or online. Please tell us first using the Host a Screening form on the home page, or email info@musterpointproductions.com, so we can help and share anything useful. Charging admission, or showing the film as part of something commercial, needs our written permission.
Donations
Donations are optional, in any amount you choose above the minimum, and are handled securely by Stripe. Muster Point Productions is not a registered charity, so donations are not eligible for tax receipts. If you gave by mistake, email info@musterpointproductions.com and we will sort it out.
Earlier rentals
Between October 7 and October 14, 2026 the film was available to rent. Every rental was refunded in full, and none can be started now.
Ownership
section 38 and everything on this site, including the film, text, images and logos, belong to Muster Point Productions or its licensors and are protected by copyright. Watching or sharing the film does not transfer any ownership.
Our responsibility
We provide the film and the site as described and work to keep them running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. To the extent the law allows, our responsibility to you for any problem is limited. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
